Planning your weekend? It should be great weather for the day-time events listed on our Best Bets page including the Jackson Zoo's Party for the Planet on Saturday, and Rainbow Co-op's annual meeting and picnic at the Cedars on Sunday.
For a night on the town, make sure to look at the JFP Music listings before you head out. Tonight, choose comedy with Off Kilter Improv at Hal & Mal's from among the two dozen options. Tomorrow, check out one of last year's "Best Cover Band," category winners, the Hardline Monks at Hal & Mal's at 8 p.m. Saturday, or this year's "Best Local Musician" Scott Albert Johnson at Fenians starting at 9 p.m. And don't forget Gospoetry at Koinonia Coffee at 8 p.m. or any of the other great acts on local stages.
For an entire smorgasbord of options, don't forget the JFP Events Calendar for everything from museum exhibits to political events, and stage plays to choral groups. Whether you're interested in community events, or music, arts and artists, look to the JFP to keep your calendar filled.
