Everyone should know that no one has stepped up to confirm that these photos are real, which is why you haven't seen a story about this on any legitimate media. It is way too easy to manipulate photos these days.

Someone sent me those pics at work. I thought they were fake too. Plus, just because it's on Media Take Out.com doesn't mean it's true. It is a gossip column after all.

Let's hope that these picture are fakes. We have enough negative stuff to deal with in our City. We don't need anymore cheap shots.

The thought that the photos weren't real never crossed my mind inasmuch as they are so in keeping with Frank's character. Real or not, we can all imagine him posing with prostitutes and, thus, it doesn't really matter whether they are real. I guess what I'm trying to say is that Frank is sorta like the defamation-proof plaintiff. There's no way to ruin his reputation 'cause it's already ruined. (Sort of what NewJackson said but with all grammatical errors intended for emphasis).

These were posted on LoungeList.com a couple weeks ago and made the round of all our Facebook pages. Word is that they are real, but I can't say that for sure.

Ladd i understand the reason y everybody in the media are so scared to go public with these photos but the media in Jackson haven't been as cautious with everything else they report. Why do Frank continue to get the royal treatment after all his criminal acts.

in my research on the othor cain website lol now this might not be true but someone from jacktown magazine is claiming responsibilty for the photos, and dosen't like that they are being used for political reasons.

After I saw the pictures I had two questions. Were they doctored and were all of those "females"? The one with the red shoes has awfully big feet for a woman.

NewJack, someone does own the photos, obviously, and media can't publish them without permission and confirmation. So I don't think it's about being "scared to go public" or "royal treatment."

Did they have models at the car show last month? The ones I have been to usually have models hanging on the cars dressed like that or with less on. Maybe that's were the girls came from.

Gotta say it...look at the title of this post...now check the comments. The Forum must have been boring as all get out. Glad I skipped it and did story hour with a rambunctious group or pre-schoolers, seems they may be the only group that's paying much attention to other mayoral candidates...

I take issue with anyone who is running for Mayor picking and choosing where he will come to advise of his platform. EVERY opportunity to speak with people who are of voting age should be taken. EVERY chance to be set apart from the other 10 people running against you, should be important. I hope that Robert Johnson who posted is not the one who is running for mayor of MY city.

golden eagle, I saw the same thing. melton stated that the pictures were authenic and that an antique car dealer, who uses these "models" during his car shows, asked him to take the pictures with them. Why did he pose next to the city's Crysler 300? That car was purchased by city tax payers when melton first went in office. He refused to drive Former Mayor Harvey Johnson's city car, which was in excellent shape and purchased less than a year bofore he left office. Jeff Lucas, you said with so much certainty that the pictures were "definitely fake." What are you feelings now that melton says they are real? Just asking. melton can do all of the posing he wants; however, I don't think that any of the city's property should be used as his back drop.

Robert Johnson makes a good point about this post. It's almost like asking Mrs. Lincoln, "How was the opera." So I will start the dialogue. How was the forum at Jackson State Univ.? Did anyone attend who can share comments?

Just asking.[/quote] If he says they are real and not photo shopped as I first thought, and its been proven, then they are real and I guessed wrong. No skin off my nose. The subliminal image they are trying to portray is fake, imo. What more do you expect?

I agree, Jeff Lucas, with your point about the "subliminal image they are trying to portray." For folks who have strong moral and ethical fiber, this would be a no,no. For melton, it is a game and he is playing to that low informational group that get a kick out of seeing him acting ignorant and talking BIG. melton is the man in their mirror. It is a sad strategy, but, melton has seen it work in all of his dealings with the City of Jackson, starting with WLBT, then on to MBN and now to keep it going with being re-elected for a second term. There continues to be a record number of melton supporters who don't give a darn about what he has done or whom he has done it to. It's like watching a murder flick and pulling for the killer. It is going to be very important for those who care about our City to really look closely at this political movement and to follow the lines of support.

Robert Johnson, I tried to get some dialogue started about the forum at JSU; that topic that this thread is suppose to be addressing.

Justjess: "I tried to get some dialogue started about the forum at JSU; that topic that this thread is suppose to be addressing." Alas, so the travails of the embattled mayor dominates and rules the airwaves and print, blotting out most dialogue of a substantive nature about the other mayoral candidates...
