As thrilling as it was, Auburn's win over Alabama in the Iron Bowl put the SEC's hopes of winning an eighth-straight national title on life-support. Florida State and Ohio State can pull the plug on the nation's top football conference by winning the ACC and Big Ten title games, respectively.
Fresno State's shootout loss to San Jose State means that only Northern Illinois can be this year's BCS Buster. If either Florida State or Ohio State stumble, the door opens for the winner of the SEC title game or Alabama. If both the Seminoles and Buckeyes fall, it opens the door for Alabama and either Auburn or Missouri for an all-SEC game.
