This is the final JFP Top 25 College Football Poll until after the National Championship Game to be played on Jan. 6. The title game will be the Florida State Seminoles against the Auburn Tigers.
Thanks to the Michigan State Spartans upset of the Ohio State Buckeyes, the SEC will have a chance at an eighth-straight national championship. It also allows the SEC and Florida State to close out the final BCS title game the way the series started.
Next year a four-team playoff starts and the argument will begin for the fifth-place team in the country. If we had a playoff this year, it would be an Iron Bowl rematch and FSU against MSU.
