Wii Are Not Amused
E3 has come and gone, and in the end, the main factor was, of course, the next-gen.
Well, technically next-next-gen, but I digress. The three consoles that made the show were the Nintendo Wii, the Playsation 3 and the tubby bucket of hardware known as the XBOX360. In terms of games, everyone had something to show, but in my opinion, the winner was Nintendo. For more in depth coverage on how the major companies did, check out Gamespot.com.

Kwanzaa's coming up
I was excited to see that Yahoo! Avatars had a few Kwanzaa backgrounds.
At least this is something I don't have to keep sending feedback for. I've asked for dreadlocks and for them to move the Afro out of the Halloween section, but I haven't seen anything done yet in that regard.
Metal Gear?!!
Word on the streets is, Kojima's confirmed a film adaptation of the legendary MGS series, accompanied by bells tolling and cheering masses. I'm not quite sure about this one yet, so stay tuned.

The Story of Cindy McCain
It was heartbreaking that she had to go through several miscarriages alone because they lived apart.
There is a fascinating profile of Cindy McCain in the New York Times today, which includes details about her drug abuse and her role in Keating Five. Also, Rick Davis is *her* idea. Definitely worth a read.

The Petal News reports: "Mississippi Democrats held their annual pep rally, the Jefferson-Jackson Day Dinner in Jackson this past weekend. Presenting the new ABC (African Broadcast Corp.) network soap opera "All God's Churn Got Shoes." Our story takes place at the No Child Left Behind Remedial Alternative School for the Financially Challenged where Miss Teacher conducts her weekly oral examination of students in the spelling and language arts class. She asks her prize student Boneqweesha Jones to define the word "churn."
[Stiggers] Fresh Breath is Coming to Town
Season's greetings, folkses! This is your favorite non-black, Mo'tel Williams, along with the Sausage Sandwich Sisters, also known as the Electric Slide Ambassadors for World Peace and Rent Money. We know that 2003 has been a year of putrid mouths spewing out foul phrases. Now the air is polluted with negative thoughts as misinformed masses bask in lethargy and apathy because the world is at war, the economy is in decay, nations are in conflict, religion is steeped in controversy, the issue of race remains unsolved and Girls Gone Wild Doggy Style. And if you hear anyone say, "life stinks," it's because the world has a bad case of halitosis.
