What is unsurprising is Mrs. Stokes injecting race into the issue where, clearly, there is none. While businesses are fleeing Jackson and Ward 3, in particular, one actually comes in? I should think rejoicing would be the theme for the demonstration, not denouncement.

So, all of these students at TSUN are away from home for the first time and are allowed to live where and with whom they wish. Shocking! We cannot allow that in the new South!

So what if a dormitory is majority-black or majority-white or even all white or black. If that is how the students wish to align themselves, then that should be their prerogative. Whether or not it is *de facto* or *de jure* integration, is that not just as wrong?

Wow...to accuse someone of ignoring facts and belittling poor people, when I did neither, well...wow. I stated my preference and an opinion. And, yes, I guess it was on your website. I, too, can judge as you have. Is my opinion on your website somehow less worthy than others? If so, then mea culpa. If not, then, well...

To echo Bill Jackson, when I went to fill out my absentee ballot, I handed over my driver's license so that the clerk would have all of the relevant information to give me my correct ballot. I didn't have to, but it saved us both some time. As I've said here and in other forums, if one is so "off the grid" that they do not have photo identification, then they probably shouldn't have any say in the governance of this state/nation. Hell, I have talked with people who have no idea, literally, who the current VP is or who Romney's running mate is...makes me wish I could rescind their abilities, too.

Congratulations to JSU and their College of Business. Hope the Pittman's success doesn't deter others from finishing school and obtaining their BS/BA. Oh, Mr. Cardon, one small correction - one does not simply major in Pediatrics. She may have attended Ole Miss and completed a nursing school - ergo her being a nurse "by trade." She likely was working in the pediatric ward prior to her leaving to work with her husband.

I wonder if Stokes will turn to Fisher and say, "Yo' mama!"

And it didn't take long for Obama to follow suit, though he did try harder than Romney. My point is Crowley lost control.
